CINDI CASSADY
Co-Clinical Director of Mental Health Services
Cindi has a BA in Social Psychology from Whittier College and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, in San Diego. She has been in private practice in San Diego since 1984 and specializes in working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals of all ages and their families faced with issues such as domestic violence, physical, sexual or emotional abuse, and trauma, as well as family or school difficulties. Cindi is certified with the Department of Adult Probation in San Diego to facilitate a 52-week domestic violence group for Deaf men/women who have engaged in domestic violence against an intimate partner. She also works with children and survivors of domestic violence. Cindi enjoys gardening and growing orchids, loves animals and dark chocolate and is well-known for her addiction to Starbucks.
